This project identifies and investigates a film festival as a participatory action research method and framework for researchers seeking impact.
Research is centred on the case study Shextreme Film Festival: the world’s first film festival celebrating women in extreme sports and adventure.
This item contains initial data gathering and archiving of women in extreme sports films which was shaped into a website called www. shextreme.tv
This item also contains video, photographic and interview documentation of the first Shextreme Film Festival.
