Curious about Care - Contextualising Information
Curious about Care is a series of painting machines reliant on the attention of others for their activation. By making public the role of care in the machine’s maintenance and upkeep this research seeks to understand if actively engaging the hand of others in the manufacture of a painting, in real time and with an audience, alters engagement and broadens access to the complex debates inherent in the works.
