Dressing for Evacuation is a series of life size photographic portraits, shown as part of the US Feverish WorldSymposium, 2018 and the UK Fashion & Textiles FutureScan 4 Conference in 2019. Through a fictional participatory scenario the project explores human emergency responses to getting dressed and gathering limited possessions for survival.

This item documents the inclusion of Dressing For Evacuation in the FutureScan 4 Conference in January 2019 at the University of Bolton, UK. Organised by The Association of Fashion and Textile Courses (FTC) and co curated by Curtis, Futurescan 4: Valuing Practice, was a 3 day conference of lectures, discussion and exhibition providing an international forum for the dissemination of research, creative practice and pedagogy surrounding fashion and textiles. Dressing For Evacuation was exhibited as part of the wider discourse within the conference on Collaborating and Cross-disciplinary Working.
