In Her Dream is a solo project commissioned by fig-2, consisting of a live performance, an installation and video at the ICA theatre and Studios in February 2015. It was a multidisciplinary and intercultural performance, inspired by the true story of a woman who murdered her abuser, forcing riots and legal reform on domestic violence in Korea.

This item contains a contextual outline, an exhibition plan, and 4 exhibition views.

This item documents the installation and video that formed Young In Hong's exhibition of In Her Dream at the ICA Studio. Echoing the baroque style of the In Her Dream performance, the installation took the form of 2 pillars draped in gold fabric and the video was a full length documentation of the performance that was staged at the ICA theatre in the same week. A publication, 'fig-2: 50 projects in 50 weeks' was produced to document all 50 works created for the programme, including In Her Dream, the 6th project in the series. The book was edited by fig-2 curator, Fatos Ustek, and edited by Black Dog Press.

Photography: Sylvain Deleu.
