Mount Athos - Exhibition at Tirtzili Mosque (3 July 2018 - 31 December 2018)

Mount Athos is a collection of drawings, paintings, and animations documenting Orthodox monastic life on this remote peninsula of North Eastern Greece. Tim Vyner uses reportage illustration methods to explore the potential of drawing as a means of engagement, producing these illustrations during his 2013 - 2015 Mount Athos residency, as part of the inaugural Doug Patterson RCA Bursary, culminating in two exhibitions in 2014/2015 and 2018.

This item contains documentation of the exhibition at Tirtzili Mosque from 3 July 2018 - 31 December 2018. The whole collection of 85 works were included in replication of the original exhibition at the Mount Athos Centre in Thessaloniki, but some of the original artwork was replaced with high quality Giclee prints.
