Subverting the Sonnet is a selection of poems published individually in literary journals, newspapers, and literary magazines, which interrogate, stretch, and repeatedly subvert the sonnet form, whilst also honouring its poetic legacy.

This items contains a statement of contextualising research, in the form of a brief written document examining the creative and critical approach to the work.
