This item contains appendices content relating to the PhD thesis, "These signs forerun the death or fall of kings": renegotiating masculinities and centrality in Shakespeare's second tetralogy through adaptation, direction and performance, by doctoral candidate CJ Turner-McMullan.

Between the Armies is an adaptation combining William Shakespeare's Henry IV Part 1 and Henry IV Part 2 that formed part of a practice-based project exploring processes of embodiment and re-embodiment in the staging of gender, sexuality and race in Shakespeare. The production was filmed during a dress rehearsal at The Rondo Theatre, Bath in September 2018.
