It was originally designed to be used for online teaching and learning. It provides a framework for students on an initial teachers training course to explore different theories of learning and explain these to each other.
Theories of learning have been framed here as: behaviourism, cognitive constructivism, social constructivism, sociocultural constructivism, and the Science of Learning.
An implicit message is that the Science of Learning offers one perspective on learning among others.
