Academic presentations can be uploaded in their original slide format. Presentations are usually represented as slide decks. Videos of presentations can be uploaded as media.
This PowerPoint was designed for use in initial teacher education for primary and early years within sessions on Special Education Needs and Disability (SEND).
It introduces the concept of working memory and emphasizes how useful concepts from cognitive psychology can (and should) be embedded within a wider view of inclusion and a focus on responding to the whole child as a unique person.
This resource is an outcome of a wider project: Enhancing the Learning Sciences in Initial Teacher Education.
